In this class, we will explore all of the basics of tomato growing from transplants to harvest. Some specific topics include comparing and contrasting the types of fruit (slicers, cherry, beefsteak, cocktail, etc.) the kinds of plants available on the market, planting time and harvesting tips and methods, fertilization, and organic pest management. If weather permits, we will demonstrate planting tomatoes in our demonstration garden.
Each attendee will head home with:
4 tomato plants of your choice
A 4lb bag of Tomato-Tone
A bag of “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Chicken Manure” Compost
This class will be offered on two separate dates. Class material will be the same for both dates.

COST: $65 (Non-refundable) Fee covers the cost for instruction, handouts, 4 tomato plants of your choice, a 4lb bag of Tomato-Tone, and a bag of “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Chicken Manure” Compost

By participating in this event, I grant SP Nursery LLC and its representatives the right to take photographs, video recordings, and other media of me while I am on the physical property (1135 S. Pleasantburg Dr.) and during the event. I further grant permission for these images or videos to be used in marketing materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, and print publications, without expectation of compensation. I understand and agree that SP Nursery LLC owns all rights to such media and may use them at their discretion.
Liability release:
In consideration of my participation in a class at South Pleasantburg Nursery, I hereby release, waive, and discharge SP Nursery LLC, its owners, employees, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my presence on the property or participation in the event. This release applies to all risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
